~60,000 sf facility comprising studio, print lab, classroom, and gallery space (similar but slightly smaller facilities on Washington DC campus); all classrooms equipped with Macintosh computers and Adobe and Apple software

Photographic gear available on campus

Students are required to own their own basic gear, but our Equipment Room is stocked with an extensive selection of industry-standard still and video lighting and grip gear, as well as DSLR cameras, lenses, and dedicated video cameras. Enrolled students have full access to our gear for school work and personal use at no charge for a full year after graduation.

Waltham and Washington DC campuses: 2 full-time Program Directors, 35 adjuncts

Number of students majoring in photography

75-100 full- and part-time Photo students across both campuses

Typical class size

6-16 students, with a guarantee of 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio. Permanent TA’s are assigned to classes that exceed 12 students, and are required to “float” into smaller classes as needed.
