BioThe moment my sister gasped aloud after seeing a picture I had taken of her, I decided I wanted to become a photographer. I hadn’t even seen the picture myself yet, but the sheer reaction was convincing enough.
My photography comes from a very planned place; I envision my ideal end result before I ever even pick up the camera. Sometimes my vision translates into the image exactly as planned and sometimes the natural workflow and feel of the subject creates something better. Over the course of my education, I have come to respect and admire light. I try to challenge myself to manipulate, control, and use it to show my subject in a powerful way. I gravitate toward very clean and dramatic images, although learning to use a full set has its merits as well.
