Academy of Art University

BioI first picked up a camera during my senior year of high school. As a last minute decision to replace another class, I enrolled into a photography class. I expected an easy class in which I could help my senior year fly by faster, but my expectations proved to be… somewhat different. Instead of another forgetful class, I instantly developed a passion with that camera. When I wasn't sitting in another class dreaming about being in the darkroom, I spent the daylight hours shooting and developing photographs. By the end of my senior year, I finally knew what I wanted to do in life. I would enlist for four years in the Marine Corps, then follow my dreams as a professional photographer. After my military enlistment, in which I gained some global experience and an ethic of hard work, I continued on with my passion by enrolling into the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I am spending four years developing my skills and building my portfolio.
I enjoy photographing a bit of everything, but my main focus is on conceptual and illustrative work revolving around the twisted, the weird, the graphic, the fantastical, the mythological, the comical, the dreamish, the nightmarish, and the narrative. I am ambitious with what I imagine inside of my head, and the process of creating those imaginations is a source of my enjoyment.
